MHAHA once again held our annual high point awards banquet in January and appointed royalty for 2018. Returning as Queen is Andrea Lowen, Katie Treadwell as Princess, Rachel Bohlen as Junior Princess and Jessica Bohlen as our Little Miss. Andrea is currently studying abroad in Europe but will resume her duties as Queen when she returns. This year each Royalty member earned a $100 gift certificate to be used at any MHAHA sponsored show in order to help promote our club and the Arabian/Half Arabian breed. We are proud of these awesome young ladies.

MHAHA will also be at the Minnesota Horse Expo and stalled with Region 10. Come talk to us in the horse barn and watch us in the breed demos.

2017
MHAHA held our annual high point awards banquet in January and appointed royalty for 2017. Returning as Queen is Andrea Lowen, and Katie Treadwell as Princess. After a year off, Rachel Bohlen returns as our Junior Princess and Jessica Bohlen as our Little Miss. We’re excited to have these great young ladies representing the MN Half Arabian Horse Assoc.
Our high point banquet was a highlight of the year and our prizes were amazing. Prizes included embroidered jackets, shirts, horse coolers, boot bags and more for both Open and Rated categories. Malana Olson won our newcomer award. Everyone went home with a nice door prize, too. If you compete with either a purebred or half-arab, you should consider joining our club just for the prizes alone (and the great bunch of people!)
Earlier this year MHAHA appointed new Royalty. Andrea Lowen is now our Queen and Katie Treadwell is our Princess. Andrea is attending St. Olaf college and is starting her three year old purebred Arabian, Amir in shows this year. Katie is 15 and shows in many disciplines. Both Andrea and Katie also compete in horse judging contests.

Becky Bohlen is our Queen. Becky is from Hudson, WI and is the mother of our Junior Princess, Rachel and our Little Miss, Jessica. Becky is very involved with her local 4H club and has just become the club’s horse project leader. Becky and her husband own a HomeVestors franchise (We Buy Ugly Houses), so they buy old houses and fix them up and sell or rent them. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent in both WI and MN. Her family owns several purebred and half Arabian horses.
Andrea Lowen is our new Princess. Andrea is 17 and from Roseville, MN. She is on the Isanti county 4-H horse judging team, in Future Problem Solving at school, and also enjoys photography, writing and going to concerts. Andrea has been leasing a purebred Arabian mare named Princess, and acquired a purebred Arabian weanling last fall.
2015 Royalty was crowned at the High Point Awards Banquet on February 1st. There was only one candidate for each position, but we do have some new faces. The Royalty also collected a large box full of food items to be donated to N.A.C.E. food shelf. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Jessica Bohlen is our Little Miss. Jessica is 8 years old and is Rachel's sister. She shows in lead line and enjoys gymnastics and swimming.
Rachel Bohlen is our Junior Princess. Rachel is 10 and from Hudson, WI. She likes music and to play flute and violin. Rachel also likes to collect and polish rocks, is involved in 4H and likes to make crafts to bring to the fair. She loves all different kinds of animals and rides a half-Arabian named Pal.
