Secretary’s Report:  Linda Pasicznyk-   Minutes Approved.  Posted on Facebook. No newsletter has been mailed out.  Currently MHAHA is looking for an individual to compile the newsletter.  If you are interested contact Chuck Rickart at:  CRickart@wsbeng.com .

ATTENTION: THE ROUMARA CHALLENGE TROPHY AWARDED IN 2008 HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED.

THIS IS A TRAVELING TROPHY WITH YEARS OF HISTORY. IF YOU HAVE THIS TROPHY  PLEASE CONTACT : Leann Peuse at leann@polywater.com, or Linda Pasicznyk at ivywoodarabians@yahoo.com.  

As of the close of this meeting Juanita will order a replacement Roumara Trophy.

Treasurers Report:  Mary Munger –  Stated the club insurance has increased.  

Membership Report:  Mary Florke – no report

Presidents Report:    Chuck Rickart –  Discussion of newsletter going quarterly.   The by-laws would need to be amended to reflect the change.  Chuck will contact Jeff for further discussion regarding by-laws etc.

Vice Presidents Report: Jeff Rutz-  no report

Committee Reports:

Dressage:  Barb Watson-  no report

High Point – Linda Pasicznyk – no report.

Royalty – Tami Bagley -  A royalty committee consisting of Rachel Spry, Tami Bagley and Chris Rickart was organized.  There task will be to meet and to report back to general meeting.

Shows and Rides: GAGT – Rachel Spry –  Check list distributed by Rachel for GAGT regarding who has what and where it is.  Three sport horse classes have been added. The food will be ordered before the show starts.

Dog Days:  AHA approved and on website.  Chuck will contact Barb Watson for volunteers.  Looking towards next year show will depend on how this one goes. 

Promotions:  Mary and Gary Florke –The Renaissance Fair will have MHAHA participation,  Jessica will take on the responsibilities.  With questions contact Mary Florke.

2010 Schooling Shows –   Fall Schooling Show, Sept 11 -Tami Bagley passed out show bill and entry form which will be on our website.  Cathy spoke with Laura Mickelson regarding stall arrangements.  Each club will collect their stalls fees.  The show needs an announcer, Leann will be the ringmaster, show secretary will be Tami Bagley.

New Business –  Chuck Rickart presented Val Gordon the President’s Award for a job well done.  Region 10 volunteer incentive program awarded 100.00 by drawings, Rachel Spry was one winner.  Suggestions for improving the Region 10 Champ show was relayed to Chuck, 1) It would be nice to have a program,  2)Review the paybacks half or more classes had no paybacks, 3) The reining classes had no ring attendants, and the show was not done. It was an insult for reining exhibitors that their presence was not recognized.
