The Great Arabian Get-Together was selected by Tri-State Members to win the 2009 Tri-State Horsemen’s Association Horse Show of the Year award for the Arabian division. MHAHA was awarded with a banner and a $25 Office Depot gift card. MHAHA’s queen, Michelle Wiberg accepted the award at the Tri-State Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza in Brooklyn Park. Michelle’s mother, Tami Bagley also attended the banquet. The theme for the night was Wild Wild West. Congratulations extend to all the volunteers, workers, judges and exhibitors who worked hard to make the Get-Together a success.
The Great Arabian Get-Together is hosted by the Minnesota Half Arabian Horse Association and is held the second weekend of July in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. It’s a three day show that offers classes for both purebred and half-Arabians in dressage, pleasure, equitation, halter, reining, trail and youth.
Tri-State Horsemen’s Association is an all breed organization that offers the thrill of top-level competition at the area's best shows. Tri-State affiliated shows offer classes for all levels of horsemanship, from beginner to experienced exhibitor.
The Great Arabian Get Together offers classes for everyone. We offer a full array of Halter, Showmanship, Youth and Adult Equitation, Western Pleasure, Reining, Trail, Hunter Pleasure, English and Country English Pleasure, Driving, Dressage, Sport Horse in Hand and under Saddle, as well as National Show Horse Classes.
The facility has a huge outdoor arena, and an optional indoor for the halter classes or in case of inclement weather. The Dressage and Sport Horse classes are held a short distance away from the main arena on a new sand ring.
